Tanzania Health Promotion Support (THPS) in collaboration with USAID and PEPFAR have a project named AFYA HATUA PROJECT which has an aim of sustaining and accelerating a comprehensive HIV response in Kigoma, Pwani and Shinyanga regions.

The project was established in October 2021and is expected to end in September 2026.

The were various activities done in the introduction event ceremony where the new project was revealed and the participants were THPS staff, PEPFAR, CDC, USAID and other stakeholders as well as the invited guests. The guest of honour for this event was Hon. Kassim Majaliwa the Prime Minister for the United Republic of Tanzania.

The event was accompanied by some exhibitions which were done with the Tanzania Health Promotion Support (THPS) staff members and some photo sessions with project beneficiaries.
